The real Janov Pelorat

This is a really inspiring presentation: "Devdutt Pattanaik: East vs west" (Link here)
He remmembers me Janov Pelorat (You have to be an Asimov fan to understand...)
I am dealing with asian people now in a business operation and forget very often that we may be looking to the same problem in very different ways...
I feel sometimes frustated with their reactions and requests. But I suspect, this is mainly my fault... I am for sure not making the right propositions.

I would love to have a similar presentation comparing occidental values with Buddist ones...

Noelia and me had today the priviledge to be in Berlin during the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the Wall fall.
Of course it is very difficult for us to grasp 100% the meaning of such an event for german people. I was 5 years old as democracy came to Spain and Noelia was borned in democracy.
We have read, seen and heard about that time. Whenever I have the chance, I try to ask my german friends and collegues how was living on that time.
But today, during the celebrations, I think the person that better resumen the real meaning of this celebration was European President Barroso: "For the young people that was not borned when the wall fall, you must realized that there was a time were you could not travel freely through Europe. Today you can study, work, travel and move all along Europe. Please make sure you make use of this huge privilege."
So, from deep in my heart, thanks to all the people that made possible for Noelia and me to be here today living in Germany. Living as european citizens. Living in freedom. Thanks for the huge privilege.
